CITY OF BROOKSIDE VILLAGE

A Resolution of the City of Brookside Village City Council of Brookside Village, TX, Propose Changing the Regular Meeting Day and Time of the City of Brookside Village City Council.

WHEREAS, the City Council of Brookside Village, TX, holds regular meetings as established on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of Brookside Village has determined that a change in the regular meeting day and time would better serve the needs of the council members and the public; and

WHEREAS, public notice of the proposed change in the meeting day and time has been provided in accordance with Section 22.038 of the Texas Local Government Code, allowing for adequate community input;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Brookside Village, Texas, as follows:

Change in Meeting Day and Time: The regular meetings of the Brookside Village City Council shall henceforth be held on 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 PM, beginning on October 2, 2024.
Meeting Place: The meeting place shall remain the same at Brookside Village City Hall at 6243 Brookside Road, Brookside Village, TX 77581.
Publication and Notice: The City Secretary is directed to publish this resolution and provide notice of the change in the regular meeting day and time in accordance with Section 22.038 of the Texas Local Government Code.
Effective Date: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Brookside Village, Texas, this 5th day of September 2024.
