Burglary
Nov. 24 (12:56 a.m.) Officers responded to the Enclave Apartments, 5000 Watkins Way, to investigate three suspicious males in the complex. When the first officer arrived, the three males ran, but were quickly found and stopped by another responding officer. Officers checked the apartment complex and found a vehicle with a broken window and a screwdriver on the ground. The three teens were released to a parent with criminal charges pending.
Theft
Nov. 18 (11:11 a.m.) A Friendswood woman was making plans to purchase a used iPad on Facebook Marketplace. She made three Cash App transfers to different persons before realizing she was involved in a scam.
Nov. 18 (4:21 p.m.) Two Ninja slushy machines were stolen from HEB on October 19th. The suspect has been identified and a warrant for theft will be issued.
Nov. 19 (9:01 a.m.) A resident in the 5000 block of Encino Court hired a contractor to rebuild a portion of fence in August. The contractor asked for advances and after paying $750, the contractor has not completed the work, only digging a few holes. The contractor has texted the victim several times promising to pay the money back, but at the time of the report, no money has been returned.
Nov. 19 (10:23 a.m.) A resident in the 500 block of Meadow Bend placed a check to his mortgage company in the mail on November 5th. A black sedan pulled up to his mailbox and stole the check. The stolen check was altered and cashed.
Nov. 21 (1:35 p.m.) A Friendswood High School teen is accused of theft from the locker room on two different occasions. Items from the theft were found in the possession of the teen, seized, and returned to the rightful owners.
Nov. 22 (10:24 a.m.) The wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Enclave Apartments, 5000 Watkins Way. The factory installed Toyota rims were 19-inch shiny black with unknown brand tires. The theft occurred sometime after 11:00 p.m.
Criminal Mischief
Nov. 19 (1:23 p.m.) A resident in the 1300 block of Yorkshire reported vandalism to his vehicle. He noticed the damage on November 11th but is unsure where or when the damage may have occurred.
Fraud
Nov. 18 (12:43 p.m.) A Friendswood man’s identity was stolen and used to purchase a vehicle from Covert Chevrolet in Hutto, TX.
Nov. 19 (12:05 p.m.) A Friendswood man had five credit cards delivered to his home that he did not apply for. The accounts were opened in Dallas and purchases were made with the newly opened credit card accounts between October 31 and November 4. The credit card accounts were fraudulently opened with Bass Pro Shops, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Academy, and Ulta.
Nov. 20 (7:33 p.m.) Officers responded to Walgreens at 104 E. Parkwood Avenue where a man was attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. He was described as a black male with dreadlocks wearing a red shirt. The man was stopped and found to be a 16-year-old Houston teen. While on scene, officers discovered that the same person passed a counterfeit $100 bill at Ocean Sushi to pay for his dinner and attempted to pass a counterfeit bill at Papa Johns. The teen was transported to Galveston County Juvenile on felony charges.
Traffic
Nov. 19 (9:40 a.m.) An officer attempted to stop a black sport-style motorcycle in the 100 block of W. Edgewood Drive. The motorcycle did not have a license plate, and the driver refused to stop. After attempting to catch up with the motorcycle, the pursuit was terminated as the motorcycle reached Dixie Farm Road in Pearland.

A male suspect, 29, of Orlando, FL, was charged with No Driver’s License.
A male suspect, 31, of Houston, was charged with No Insurance and driving a vehicle over gross weight more than 20,000 lbs.
A male suspect, 18, of Rosharon, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 34, of Onalaska, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A male suspect, 25, of Houston, was charged with No Commercial Driver’s License and No Insurance.
A male suspect, 24, of League City, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A female suspect, 33, of Friendswood, was charged with No Driver’s License and No Insurance.
A male suspect, 33, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 30, of Houston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
A male suspect, 25, of Alvin, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
