Friendswood ISD Education Foundation launches Adopt-A-Grant campaign

Date:

The Friendswood ISD Education Foundation (FEF) has officially launched its 2024-2025 Adopt-A-Grant Campaign, just in time for Giving Tuesday. Executive Director Ashley Adair announced the campaign, encouraging the community to support local education through this impactful initiative.

“This year’s grants are written by teachers and inspired by students,” Adair shared. “They are a meaningful way to give back to FISD classrooms, perfect for holiday gifts or year-end, tax-deductible donations for families and businesses!”

The Adopt-A-Grant program allows individuals and businesses to browse grants by campus or search for specific teacher requests. This year’s grants offer a diverse range of innovative classroom projects and educational enhancements. With community support, these ideas will be brought to life, enriching the learning experience for Friendswood ISD students.

Donations can be made online at fef.myFISD.com through March 14, 2025. Whether it’s gifting a grant to honor a teacher or contributing to a favorite project, every donation helps create opportunities for students and teachers.

“This is a wonderful chance to make a tangible impact on education in our community,” Adair said. “Let’s bring learning to life together!”
