The Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar during the Regular Meeting on December 16, 2024.
The approved calendar, draft “B” during the voting process, has school beginning on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade and Wednesday, August 13, 2025, for all other grades. School will end before the Memorial Day holiday on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Out of nearly 8,101 responses, this calendar received the most total votes amongst parents and staff out of the two drafts available.
The calendar options were developed to reflect state mandates and align with other local school districts and colleges where students complete dual credit and college coursework. The approved draft also offers a fall break from October 10-14.
