The Friendswood Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating 32-year-old William Roger Cole, who was reported missing on December 29, 2024. Cole, a group home resident in the 1800 block of Valero, is believed to have left the home in the early morning hours of December 28.

Described as a white male with a thin build, Cole is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 154 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing a long black trench coat and riding an orange and black Cliff Runner mountain bike.

According to group home staff, Cole lives with schizophrenia, Tourette’s syndrome, and additional mental and physical health conditions. He left without his necessary medications, raising concerns for his well-being. Family members report that he has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old, further amplifying the urgency of the search.

The Friendswood Police Department urges anyone with information on Cole’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 281-996-3300.

“Our priority is ensuring William’s safe return,” a police spokesperson stated. “We appreciate the community’s help in locating him.”

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any sightings to assist in the search efforts.
