Extension office offers a canning series

The County AgriLife Extension Office continues its 2025 series, “Oh, Yes You Can,” with a 10 a.m. presentation on steam canning on February 22.

The $35 fee for the class includes materials, and the extension office is located at 21017 County Road 121 in Angleton.

Future classes include pressure canning meats for $35 on March 8, dehydration for $35 on March 29, sourdough for $35 on May 3, fermentation for $35 on May 17, Tomatoes: Under Pressure for $35 on June 21, “Ready, Set, Sell” food handlers’ session for $35 on July 26, and jams and jellies for $35 on September 13. All sessions begin at 10 a.m.
