Pearland ISD Student Advances to Regional Spelling Bee

Pearland Independent School District proudly announces the winner of its annual District Spelling Bee, held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. After a thrilling 13 rounds of intense competition, Abraham Aitemadi, a sixth-grade Sam Jamison Middle School student, emerged victorious.

The District Spelling Bee showcased the exceptional spelling abilities of Campus Champions from Pearland ISD’s elementary, middle, and junior high schools. Students demonstrated remarkable dedication and preparation, tackling various challenging words.

Abraham Aitemadi displayed remarkable poise and accuracy throughout the competition, ultimately securing the championship title. His victory allows him to represent Pearland ISD at the upcoming Regional Spelling Bee.

The district extends its sincere congratulations to all the participating students for their impressive efforts and sportsmanship.
