Upcoming Friendswood City Council Election on May 3, 2025

On May 3, 2025, the City of Friendswood will hold its General Election to fill two City Council positions: Position No. 4 and Position No. 6.

Candidates for Position No. 4:

  • Robert J. Griffon – The incumbent for Position No. 4, Griffon has been a resident of Friendswood for over 53 years and works as an investor.

Candidates for Position No. 6:

  • Tom Hinckley – A business owner residing in Friendswood for over 11 years, Hinckley is running for Position No. 6.
  • Michael P. Ross – A developer with nearly 19 years in Friendswood, Ross is also vying for Position No. 6.

Early voting will be held at the First Baptist Church and Village on the Park beginning Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th, 8am to 5pm. The polls will also be open April 29th and 30th from 7am to 7pm. Election Day will be May 3rd with polls open from 7am to 7pm.
