The 19th annual Pear Run hosted by the Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will begin and end at Independence Park this Saturday.
A portion of Pearland Parkway will be closed on race day, and pre-run activities will begin at 7 a.m. A 10K begins at 7:30 a.m., and a 5K will start at 8 a.m.
The largest benefit of the year for the Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association’s largest fundraiser, the Pear Run dedicates fees toward drones, safety equipment, and training for the Pearland Police Department.
