NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS AND PARTIES:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pearland Economic Development Corporation (the “Corporation”) will conduct a public hearing to consider the use of sales tax proceeds from the levy of the one-half of one percent sales and use tax, approved by the voters of the City of Pearland (the “City”) on January 21, 1995. The public hearing will take place at 5:00 p.m. on May 22, 2025 at 3519 Liberty Drive, Suite 350, Pearland, Texas.

Sales tax proceeds will be used for Projects, as part of the Corporation’s fiscal year 2025-2026 budget that includes land, buildings, equipment, facilities, expenditures, targeted infrastructure and improvements that are for the creation and retention of primary jobs. Proposed project types include: manufacturing and industrial facilities, research and development facilities, transportation facilities, distribution centers, regional and corporate headquarter facilities and small warehouse and storage facilities. Sales Tax proceeds will also be used for promotional expenses to new and expanding businesses, entrepreneurs, open space improvements, demolition, redevelopment, infrastructure and transportation improvements, recreation, job training, debt obligations, administrative expenses and other improvements or facilities related to any of the foregoing projects. Along with related maintenance for any of the proposed projects.
