Pearland quarterback Jake Westmoreland throws a deep bomb in the Oiler Maroon vs White Spring Game. Westmoreland will be one of the senior captains for 2025 as the Oilers look to once again compete for the district title and make a playoff run. The annual Maroon vs White game is the pinnacle of the spring football practice, where head coach BJ Gotte and his staff get a head start on the 2025 football season. The players put in four weeks’ worth of practice before getting into the summer strength and conditioning programs leading up to the 2025 regular season.
