Storm preparedness expo set for June 14

The Brazoria County Fairgrounds in Angleton will be the June 14 Disaster Preparedness Expo site, addressing various topics as the Atlantic Hurricane Season gets underway. 

Scheduled from 10 am to 1 pm, the expo will include guest speakers on topics such as building a preparedness kit, including family pets in preparations, generator safety, and the outlook for this season from the National Weather Service. 

The event includes free hot dogs while supplies last, children’s activities including a touch a-truck display, door prizes, and exhibitor booths. 

Admission and parking at the fairgrounds is free and open to the public.
