Volunteers help restore habitat along Cowards Creek

Date:

The Young Men’s Service League and the Master Naturalists helped Keep Friendswood Beautiful restore native habitat along Cowards Creek in Friendswood recently.

Master Naturalists Chuck Snyder, Chatt Smith, and Gregg Milligan tackled invasive ligustrum that was crowding out native trees while the Young Men’s Service League removed the debris and stacked it into three massive piles for mulching.

According to Keep Friendswood Beautiful members, this kind of impactful work wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of amazing volunteers.  Their time, energy, and commitment helps keep Friendswood beautiful.
