Community funds 247 teacher ‘Mini-Grants’

Date:

The Pearland ISD Education Foundation is proud to announce that, thanks to overwhelming generosity from our Pearland community, all 247 Teacher Mini-Grant submissions—totaling $53,711—were fully funded during the 2025 Give a Grant Campaign.

This year’s campaign was made possible through the leadership and sponsorship of Brask, Inc. and Realvest Property Management, who championed the opportunity for Pearland ISD educators to submit Mini-Grants of $250 or less for classroom supplies, student programs, or campus initiatives. At the end of September, these grants were placed “up for auction,” inviting the community to step in and “Give a Grant” directly to Pearland ISD teachers.

The response was extraordinary.

Through enthusiastic support at Pearland ISD football games, community promotions at local events, and a dedicated “Give a Grant Day” at Steamboat Bills—which donated a generous percentage of proceeds back to the Foundation—the momentum grew. Bayway Lincoln further propelled the campaign through its “Embrace for Good” Lincoln Drive Event, providing additional funding and visibility.

Together, these efforts brought the Foundation within reach of its goal, and the Education Foundation Board of Directors proudly contributed the final portion needed to ensure that every submitted and approved 2025 Mini-Grant was fully funded.

“We are Pearland Proud,” said the Foundation leadership. “This campaign demonstrates exactly what makes our community exceptional—neighbors, businesses, educators, and families coming together to invest in our students and empower our teachers.”

The mission of the Pearland ISD Education Foundation remains steadfast: to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and enhance opportunities for Pearland ISD students and staff.
