PJH South celebrates three-time STEM grant winner

Pearland Junior High South proudly announces that Mara Barrozo, 8th grade Science teacher and Science Department Chair, has been awarded a prestigious STEM grant from the Houston Community Career+Education Forum for the third consecutive year. This landmark achievement highlights her consistent dedication to innovative science education.

Barrozo was recognized by CCEF for her successful grant application, which secures vital funding and resources for the Pearland Junior High South Science Department.

“It is an honor to receive this grant for the third year in a row. It is a testament to the enthusiasm our students have for science and the importance of community support for STEM education,” Barrozo said.
