A purse containing a Glock pistol, credit/debit cards, engagement ring, and other jewelry was stolen. Surveillance video obtained from the scene allowed officers to identify the suspect and the vehicle.

Using video from the incident, officers were able to track the suspect to a motel in the 8600 block of the Gulf Freeway. On December 18, 2025, at approximately 8:00 PM, the Friendswood Field Support Unit took Vincent Walker, 60, of Houston, into custody on two Fort Bend County Warrants for Debit/Credit Card Abuse. At the time of his arrest, he was also found to be in possession of a firearm, methamphetamine, and identifying information for several individuals.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges on Walker for Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Unlawful Possession Firearm by Felon, and Fraudulent Use/Possession Identifying Information. His bond amount has not been set at this time and further charges are pending the outcome of an investigation.

Due to the quick work of Friendswood Officers and the Field Support Unit. The engagement ring that was stolen from the vehicle was safely delivered back to the bride just in time for her wedding day on December 19.
