Pearland City Council on Dec. 15 approved the first of two planned budget amendments for the fiscal year, which began Oct. 1 and runs through the end of September 2026.
The amendment includes $2.7 million in general fund carryovers — goods or services approved and ordered in fiscal year 2025 but not received before a new fiscal year began. Enterprise fund carryovers total approximately $5.66 million, including $3.51 million for Reflection Bay project repair disc filters.
About $4 million of the carryovers are replacement vehicles not yet delivered.
