The Alvin ISD Education Foundation will hold its annual Turtle Race and Family Fun Run on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Meridiana Adventure Cove.
The event draws more than 20 vendors; participants purchase tickets for numbered plastic turtles that are released into the water — the first to cross the finish line wins.
Registration for the Fun Run is $25 to $35 before Jan. 15.
