The Alvin College Law Enforcement Academy graduated its 125th class during a ceremony on December 12.
Fifteen cadets received their certification from the graduating class. Several graduates received their badges through a variety of agencies including the Alvin Police Department, Harris County Constable, Santa Fe Police Department and the Texas City Police Department.
Andrew Kapfer was named the top academic achiever for the class. Cadet Grant Devous was named the top gun for the highest achievement in firearms training. Cadet Christopher Dreamer was given the Excellence in Leadership award.
