Registration is still open for the upcoming Pearland Neighborhood Center’s Annual Playing Fore a Purpose Golf Event, Friday, September 18, 2020 from 11 am to 8 pm at Golfcrest Country Club at 2509 Country Club in Pearland.
The format is four person scramble with a noon shotgun start. Check in will be at 11 am.
Player fees include green fees, cart fees, range balls, goody bag and awards dinner.
Profit from the fundraiser will aid the services programs that facilitate the development of individuals and families including Utility and Rent Assistance, Food & Baby Pantry, Emergency Assistance, Pearland Forum, Share Your Holidays, and Disaster Relief.
Sponsorships are available at https://pnctexas.com/. Levels include Two Teams Sponsorship, Tent/Hole/4 Person Team Sponsor, Fore-Person Team (by Sept. 4), Hold Sign Sponsor (Both New and one for Returning). Prices vary form $2,500 to $100.
PNC is located at 2335 N. Texas Ave. in Pearland. Their food pantry is open by appointment only Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to noon and 1-3 pm.
Their mission is to provide a foundation of effective services and responsive programs to facilitate the development of individuals and families. Their programs include Utility Assistance, Rent Assistance, Food & Baby Pantry, Bread Pantry, Santa’s Helpers, School Supply Vouchers, Financial Stability Course, Emergency Assistance, Pearland Forum, Share Your Holidays, Disaster Relief, and GED Scholarships.
