3rd Annual Thanksgiving Feast planned for KC Hall

Date:

By Karolyn Gephart

The 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Feast is planned for November 24, 2020 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Registration begins October 28, 2020 through November.

Manvel Community Outreach is teaming up again with Rainbow International of Pearland/Manvel to host the event.

This year due to COVID-19, the event will be different in certain ways than it has been in the past. Masks and temperature checks will be required to enter the KC Hall. What will not change is the reason for having it: it’s about the community for the community.

Traditional Thanksgiving lunch will be served on plates or in to-go containers to eat in the KC Hall or at home.

The Mobile Pantry will be present to supply boxes of food to send home with families after lunch.

Volunteers are needed this year as in the past but extra help will be needed this year. Volunteers should arrive on November 24 by 7 am as well as volunteers at the end of the event to help with clean up. Volunteers are required this year to wear masks and gloves.
