The 40th Anniversary Pocket Pear Hold’Em Tournament and Casino Night Fundraiser in Pearland is set for June 11, 2022 at the Pearland Lions Club at 3550 S. Main St.
The event benefits Keep Pearland Beautiful.
Doors will open at 5:30 pm with the tournament beginning at 6:45 pm.
All event proceeds will benefit Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) programming and the Joe Miller Environmental Scholarship. Since 2009, the Joe Miller Environmental Scholarship has awarded over $130,000 in scholarships to high school seniors in Pearland who demonstrate environmental stewardship.
KPB programming doesn’t end with recycling; they also organize city cleanups, provide environmental teacher training, and promote beautification projects throughout the Pearland area.
