Friendswood Fire Department Receives Donation from Rotary Club

Date:

The Friendswood Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) have gratefully received a substantial donation from the local Rotary Club to help bolster their life-saving equipment.

The Rotary Club of Friendswood has generously contributed $15,000 for the purchase of six state-of-the-art defibrillators. The new equipment will allow the Friendswood Fire Department and EMS to respond more effectively to cardiac emergencies, and, importantly, it will help to save more lives.

Defibrillators are vital devices in emergency medical situations, particularly in cases of heart attacks, where they can literally be the difference between life and death. Having access to an increased number of these machines will significantly enhance the Fire Department’s ability to provide immediate and effective care to the residents of Friendswood.

The Rotary Club of Friendswood is part of Rotary International, a globally recognized service organization dedicated to benefiting local and global communities. With the stated mission of providing service to others, promoting integrity, and advancing world understanding, goodwill, and peace, Rotary International often contributes to initiatives that support these values. Their involvement with professional, business, and community leaders allows them to make meaningful contributions to various causes.

This generous contribution from the Rotary Club of Friendswood serves as a shining example of the Rotary Club’s mission of service to others.
