Pearland Independent School District welcomes Brittany Kaighen as its director of finance.
With a combined 18 years of experience dedicated to education, Kaighen has served Pearland ISD as a payroll clerk, Pearland High School’s data specialist and professional registrar, and her most recent position, compensation specialist in the Human Resources department. Prior to working at Pearland ISD, Kaighen served in Pasadena ISD as a senior bookkeeper accounting and payroll.
“I am honored to serve the district as the finance director, and I am incredibly grateful for the amazing mentors throughout my career in Pearland ISD that molded me as a leader Built Pearland Proud,” she said. “I look forward to the opportunity to invest in others, so that they also can achieve their personal greatness.”
Kaighen holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both from Le Tourneau University.
“My vision is to empower my staff to reach their professional goals and to serve the district, stakeholders and community as a resource,” she said. “My motto is to provide servant leadership with student success at the core of everything that we do.”
