Burglary
Dec. 7 (2:14 p.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported at Masa Sushi located at 1788 S. Friendswood Drive. The victim left Texas First Bank after making a withdrawal and parked at the restaurant. He was inside the restaurant for approximately 30 minutes when he went to his vehicle and found the back passenger window was shattered, but nothing was stolen. Fortunately, the money bag from the bank was locked and secure. Video surveillance showed a black Nissan Rouge pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle. The license plate on the Nissan was TX 69J2813.
Dec. 9 (6:02 a.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Edgewater Drive. A designer purse, a wallet, credit cards, sunglasses, and a bracelet were stolen. The burglary occurred at 4:12 a.m., when a dark colored, possibly Jeep Wrangler, was seen on camera in the area.
Theft
Dec. 4 (2:50 p.m.) An employee theft was reported at 7-Eleven, 1651 W. Parkwood Avenue.
Dec. 5 (9:28 a.m.) A Friendswood Junior High School student was using his school computer in the gym at 8:00 a.m. However, when it was time to go to class, he left the computer behind. He returned to get it, but it was gone.
Dec. 6 (12:02 p.m.) A silver 2006 Infinity M35S 4-door was stolen from a residence in the 16800 block of Tibet Road. There was a suspect identified in the theft. The vehicle was later found at an apartment complex in Baytown where it was recovered with no occupants.
Dec. 7 (6:07 p.m.) A bicycle theft was reported at Marcos Pizza, 1632 S. Friendswood Drive. The bicycle was parked in the alley behind the store at 4:00 p.m. and was missing at 6:30 p.m. The bicycle is described as a Haro Double Peak mountain bike with green lettering. The bicycle has a silver Chevy V8 engine mainframe below the seat of the bicycle and it has two different sized tires.
Dec. 8 (7:22 a.m.) A mini excavator was stolen from a construction site in the 14000 block of Beamer Road. A second mini excavator was moved, damaged, and left in a field. The criminal mischief and theft occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Fraud
Dec. 4 (8:40 a.m.) A Friendswood man’s personal identifying information was used to open a Frost Bank account. Fortunately, the bank denied the application.
Dec. 4 (9:32 a.m.) A Friendswood man is out thousands of dollars after getting involved with a Coinbase and wallet investment scam.
Traffic
Dec. 6 (9:13 a.m.) A hit and run accident was reported at the Natatorium parking lot. The victim’s vehicle was parked during a swim meet when an unknown vehicle struck the front driver’s side bumper and wheel.
Dec. 7 (10:36 a.m.) A hit and run accident was reported in the HEB parking lot, 701 W. Parkwood Avenue. The white Infinity was parked in the middle aisle and struct on the driver’s side rear quarter panel leaving red paint transfer.
Other Incidents
Dec. 4 (7:00 a.m.) Friendswood Police are investigating a suspicious person who was at Friendswood Lake, 2533 Davis Prairie Lane. The suspicious person is a white male, with long black hair, driving a small black vehicle, possibly a Toyota sedan. The man claimed to be playing Pokémon but displayed inappropriate images on his cell phone to another person using the park facilities.

A male suspect, 43, of Alvin, was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1-B.
A male suspect, 38, of Santa Fe, was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3.
A male suspect, 24, of Alvin, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
A male suspect, 43, of Houston, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
A female suspect, 35, of Missouri City, was charged with Tampering with a Government Record and has a warrant for Prostitution.
A male, 42, of Houston, was charged with No Seat Belt.
A female suspect, 55, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Member.
A male suspect, 22, of Houston, was charged with Tampering with a Government Record.
A female suspect, 39, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A female suspect, 25, of Pasadena, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2.
A male suspect, 40, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Assault by Contact.
A male suspect, 17, of Webster, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of an E-Cigarette by a Minor.
