Burglary
Mar. 4 (1:48 p.m.) A burglary was reported at a home under construction in the 1800 block of Lake Crest Lane, in the Avalon subdivision. Sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., on March 1st, the garage door was kicked in. The suspects stole a refrigerator and a wine cooler.
Theft
Mar. 4 (11:01 a.m.) A superintendent of a construction site in the 4200 block of Friendswood Link Road reported the overnight theft of an 800-pound grapple bucket from a skid-steer.
Mar. 4 (8:31 p.m.) Two teen girls stole cosmetic items from HEB, 701 W. Parkwood Avenue, at approximately 7:58 p.m. The two suspects passed all points of sale, ran out of the main central doors, and got into a white Cadillac. HEB management was able to provide the license plate number of the suspect vehicle.
Mar. 6 (8:32 a.m.) An electric dirt bike was stolen in the 16000 block of Blackhawk Blvd on March 5 at 6:00 p.m. The owner drove and parked the vehicle near a retention area of the park.
Fraud
Mar. 4 (8:38 a.m.) A resident in the 800 block of Falcon Lake Drive had a truck stolen in January. Now, the victim is receiving notifications regarding new credit card accounts being opened using his personal identifying information.
Mar. 4 (9:33 a.m.) A man arrested and jailed at the Harris County Jail is using a Friendswood woman’s address as his own. The resident received correspondence from a law firm at her 16100 block of Barcelona Drive residence that shows that the man used her address on the bond paperwork when he was released from jail. The man does not live at the address.
Mar. 4 (11:55 a.m.) A disabled Friendswood woman was messaging a man she believed to be Justin Timberlake through the Telegram platform. She gave the man her personal identifying information and purchased gift cards for him.
Mar. 5 (10:21 p.m.) A Friendswood man was scammed in a Facebook Marketplace golf cart purchase. The item was listed for sale for $2000 and required a $500 downpayment through Zelle. The seller told the victim that his bank did not accept payments from Chase Bank and requested another $200. The victim became suspicious and then could no longer find the Facebook Marketplace listing for the golf cart.
Mar. 7 (1:19 p.m.) A contractor working on a home in the 2400 block of West Ranch Drive forged and cashed a check against the homeowner’s bank account. The work being done was in dispute and the contractor was accused of causing damage to the home.
Mar. 9 (2:36 p.m.) A Friendswood man’s identity was used to open two energy service accounts at residential addresses where he has never resided.
Mar. 9 (4:09 p.m.) A Friendswood man received an email about a new credit card account that he was approved for. He checked his credit monitoring service and found where a hard inquiry was made. He has not applied for nor given anyone permission to apply for credit using her personal information.
Criminal Mischief
Mar. 6 (1:05 p.m.) A roofing company is accused of manually manipulating the shingles on a roof during a storm damage inspection. The incident occurred in February 2023, at a residence in the 300 block of Tall Timbers Court.
Mar. 9 (10:31 p.m.) A resident in the 100 block of Eagle Lakes Drive heard a loud noise, looked outside, and observed a white pickup truck with silver trim backing up and driving away. The truck had a camper shell on the bed and may have been lifted. The truck struck a fire hydrant.
Mar. 10 (11:48 a.m.) A resident in the 16300 block of Tibet Road reported vandalism to his vehicles. The vehicles were parked in the driveway at the time of the vandalism. Damage was done to the rear driver’s side window of one vehicle and the windshield of a second vehicle. Officers observed other vehicles in the same block that also received similar damage.
Assault
Mar. 4 (7:17 p.m.) An 82-year-old Friendswood woman is accused of assaulting her 52-year-old son at the Garden at Friendswood Lakes Senior Living Center, located at 1423 W. Parkwood Avenue. No arrest was made.
Mar. 8 (4:56 p.m.) Two women, in their thirties, got into a physical fight at a residence in the 800 block of Lockmoor Lane. Citations for the assault were issued to both parties.
Narcotics
Mar. 7 Two 15-year-old Friendswood High School students were found in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mar. 10 (10:15 p.m.) Amber Lynn Duplehcain, 41, of Houston, was arrested for outstanding warrants and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. At the jail, Duplehcain swallowed a baggie containing methamphetamine and had to be transported to the hospital. A warrant is pending, charging Duplehcain with Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence.
