Pearland ISD Names New Pearland High School Principal

Date:

The Pearland Independent School District Board recently approved Adrian Washburn as Pearland High School’s (PHS) new principal.

With over 16 years of experience in education, Washburn will join PHS after serving as associate principal at Clear Brook High School, Clear Connections Online Learning principal, and assistant principal at Clear Lake High School in Clear Creek Independent School District. Before serving in leadership roles, Washburn taught at various school districts in the Houston area.

He looks forward to creating a positive and collaborative culture that empowers all students to achieve academic excellence. “My vision is to inspire and empower students and staff to reach new heights of success,” he said. “By continuously improving and building a strong, positive culture at PHS, we will expand holistic experiences and drive academic achievement and growth for all.”

Following the school year, current Pearland High School principal, John Palombo, will serve as the Executive Director of Safe and Secure Schools for the district.
