REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 2024-06
CITY VOLUNTARY WORKSITE INSURANCE

Sealed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Worksite Quotes encompassing Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity plans, effective October 1, 2024, shall be submitted through one (1) paper copy and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format on a flash drive or CD. Each copy must be identical and include the ink signature of an authorized company representative capable of entering into a contract. All submitted materials must be clearly labeled with “RFP NO. 2024-06, City Voluntary Worksite Insurance” along with the company name and addressed to the City of Friendswood, Attn: City Secretary. These submissions are to be delivered to Friendswood City Hall, City Secretary’s Office, 910 S. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX, 77546 no later than Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. No proposals will be accepted after this date and time.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any or all irregularities or to proceed otherwise when in the best interest of the City. Any contract arising from this RFP will be granted to the offeror whose proposal is deemed the most beneficial to the City, taking into account both the cost and other evaluative criteria outlined in this request for proposals.

The City has not sought the services of a Consultant/Agent/Broker for this solicitation. Forms and specifications for submitting a proposal may be collected from the City’s designated consultant/agent, Shaina Miller, at Higginbotham, 1400 FM 528 Suite F, Webster, TX 77598, 713-439-5233, Email: smiller@higginbotham.net.

Proposals shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from the date proposals are opened.
