PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO APPENDIX C “ZONING,” SECTION 3 “PROVISION FOR OFFICIAL ZONING MAP” AND SECTION 9 “ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT – BUILDING PERMITS AND CERTIFICATES OF ZONING COMPLIANCE,” SUBSECTION G “SPECIFIC USE PERMITS,” PARAGRAPH 7 “TIME LIMIT” OF THE FRIENDSWOOD CITY CODE TO AMEND THE PROCESS OF MAINTAINING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND TO AMEND THE TIME LIMIT CRITERIA FOR SPECIFIC USE PERMITS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Friendswood will each hold a public hearing to give all interested persons the right to appear and express their views on the following item:
Proposed amendments to Appendix C “Zoning,” Section 3 “Provision for official zoning map” and Section 9 “Administration and enforcement – Building permits and certificates of zoning compliance,” Subsection G “Specific Use Permits,” Paragraph 7 “Time Limit” of the Friendswood City Code to amend the process of maintaining the official zoning map and to amend the time limit criteria for Specific Use Permits.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its public hearing on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546-4856, at its meeting commencing at 6:00 P.M.
The City Council will hold its public hearing on Monday, September 9, 2024, in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546-4856, at its meeting commencing at 5:30 P.M.
