Heritage Gardeners of Friendswood are gearing up for their Annual Summer Indoor Outdoor Garage Sale Thursday through Saturday, August 1-3, 2024.
The original event was in July, but Hurricane Beryl and the damage afterward had members decide to change the date to August.
The clubhouse and a huge tent outside are bursting with items of all varieties, including fine glassware and kitchen items, furniture, clothing for back-to-school and other adult items, shoes, garden items, jewelry, quilting material and supplies, seasonal decorations, and more.
The gardeners have this fundraiser each year to fund programs, maintenance of the clubhouse, scholarships for area seniors, and more.
Hurricane Beryl damaged the roof, and funds from the sale will be used to repair it.
The summer garage sale has become a club tradition and continues to grow each year.
Hours for the event are 9 am to 4 pm each day.
The clubhouse is located at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood.
The community is invited to attend.
