Pearland junior wide receiver Jet Hernandez takes a hard shot by a Clear Falls defensive back at the scrimmage on Thursday night. The Oilers have been working hard as head coach BJ Gotte and his staff work to get the team ready for the 2024 season, which features several very big matchups on the schedule. Opening night is Thursday, August 29th, vs. the Fulshear Chargers, at 6:30 pm at The Rig. Football fans can return to The Rig on Friday night, Aug 30th, to catch the Dawson Eagles open their season vs. the Bridgeland Bears.
