Those considering running for an elected office are invited to an Oct. 5 Candidate Boot Camp hosted by the Pearland Chamber.
Covering everything from finance requirements to marketing, the seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Commerce Center, 6117 Broadway St. Speakers include Andrew Gates of Salient Strategies Law, and Larry Gonzales, former state representative.
Registration is $70 per person, is open to Chamber members and nonmembers, and is available at pearlandtexaschamber.us/bootcamp.
