Residents, team members, and guests are invited to Village On The Park senior living community on Thursday, October 23, at 11:00 am for their annual Oktoberfest celebration.
The gathering will feature Das 1st Lustig, one of the most requested traditional German folk bands currently touring the southern part of the United States.
The popular event is held at the community each fall and takes place outdoors. The event will include festive Oktoberfest treats, dancing, and highly sought-after musical entertainment.
“Village On The Park has several seniors with German heritage who reside in the community,” said Jose Abarca Thomasson, Carriage Inn Director of Activities, “Their involvement helps make the event fun and memorable and we look forward to celebrating with residents and our surrounding neighbors every year.”
