Burglary
Oct. 2 (5:41 p.m.) An unlocked vehicle burglary was reported at the Friendswood Public Works building at 15355 Blackhawk Blvd. According to camera surveillance, the burglary occurred at 11:12 a.m. when a blue Toyota Camry followed by a silver Chevrolet Malibu entered the gated area. A thin black male with long braided hair, wearing glasses, opened the driver’s side door and stolen a firearm out of the vehicle.
Theft
Sept. 30 (12:03 p.m.) A Friendswood woman reported the theft of a license plate. On October 1, a Friendswood officer stopped a vehicle driving with the stolen license plate and took Natalia Lorraine Delia, 32, of Friendswood, into custody and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with wrong license plates.
Oct. 1 (3:18 p.m.) A City of Friendswood check payment to a vendor was intercepted, altered, and cashed. At this time, it has not been determined where the theft of the check occurred, but the suspect may reside in Ohio.
Oct. 3 (1:00 p.m.) An 85-year-old woman was shopping at HEB located at 701 W. Parkwood Avenue when her wallet was stolen. Camera surveillance captured a black male, with prescriptions glasses, wearing a dark sports coat, burgundy polo shirt, dark trousers and a dark flat driving cap reaching into the victim’s purse and removing her wallet. By the time she realized that the wallet was stolen, the victim’s credit card was used at Walgreens.
Oct. 3 (3:56 p.m.) A Friendswood woman’s wallet was stolen as she shopped at Kroger located at 3135 FM 528. A debit card inside the wallet was used at Marshals and Ulta. Fortunately, the charges were declined.
Oct. 5 (8:08 a.m.) A theft was reported at O’Reilly’s located at 105 W. Edgewood Drive. A black male entered the store and gave several part numbers to the employee. Two of the parts were on the counter while the employee went to the back to get a third part. At that time, the suspect left without paying for the parts. The suspect was described as a young, thin, light-skinned black male, wearing all black, with dreadlocks and a tattoo on his arm.
Fraud
Oct. 2 (8:33 a.m.) A Friendswood woman’s identity was stolen and used to open a Verizon account.
Oct. 4 (12:22 p.m.) A Friendswood man received an alert on his credit report for a past due debt at a Houston apartment complex. The names associated with the account were not known to the victim and he has never lived or applied to live at the complex.
Threats
Oct. 3 (2:42 p.m.) A 72-year-old Texas City man made terroristic threats toward a public servant. The incident was investigated, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect. Friendswood and Texas City officers executed the warrant on Friday morning, taking him into custody.
Assault
Oct. 6 (4:12 a.m.) A male employee is accused of assaulting a 74-year-old patient at Friendship Haven, 1500 Sunset Drive. When the officer arrived, the employee had already been sent home by management.
Traffic
Oct. 5 (10:01 a.m.) A tree was damaged at a residence in the 3300 block of King George Lane. According to camera surveillance, the incident occurred at 3:27 a.m. when a dark colored truck, traveling at a high rate of speed, failed to negotiate a turn and collided into the tree. The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old Friendswood man. A warrant is pending.

A male suspect, 25, of Richmond, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2.

A male suspect, 29, of Webster, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
A male suspect, 30, of Santa Fe, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
A male suspect, 24, of Alvin, was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
A male suspect, 24, of Alvin, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 years of age.
A male suspect, 25, of Groves, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 37, of Houston, was charged with Expired Registration.
A male suspect, 23, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A female suspect, 22, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Francisco Rolando Portales-Ramirez, 38, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License, No Insurance, and Illegal Window Tint.

Anthony Hernandez, 22, of Pasadena, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
Brandi Deshae Lee, 28, of Houston, was charged with False Drug Test Falsification Device.
Shaun Sonnier, 41, of Vidor, was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
Matthew McElroy, 26, of Vidor, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3
Oct. 6
Kasey Lee Baldwin, 29, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Jose Armondo Galvez Contreras, 50, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License and No Insurance.
Tremel Rashad Benson, 42, of Friendswood, was charged with Injury to a Child and Assault of a Family Member – Impede Breath.
Iris Gale Jefford, 65, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd offense.
