Drive-thru barbecue benefits counseling

The Pearland Lions Club will hold a drive-thru barbecue on Sunday, Oct. 20, with all proceeds going to Counseling Connections for Change INC, providing faith-based counseling, education, and prevention services.
Chicken, sausage, and sides will be available for $15 per plate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Lions Club, 3550 South Main St.
