Pearland junior wide receiver Jordan “Jet” Hernandez made a spectacular diving catch for a touchdown from quarterback Jake Westmoreland on Friday night. Hernandez had six receptions for 148 yards and three touchdowns as the Oilers dominated Pasadena Memorial 52-3. The victory puts the Oilers in the driver’s seat as they head to Shadow Creek for a game that will likely decide the District 22-6A Championship. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Freedom Field on Friday, October 25th.

Craft’s Running Adds to Oilers’ Arsenal
Pearland senior quarterback Steven Craft showcased his speed with a 42-yard touchdown run against Pasadena Memorial on Friday night, contributing to the Oilers’ 52-3 win over the Mavericks. The Oilers frequently utilize Craft in run/pass option or wildcat formations to keep opposing defenses off balance. Head Coach BJ Gotte and his staff will need to employ all their offensive weapons as the Oilers aim to secure the District 22-6A championship against Shadow Creek at Freedom Field on Friday, October 25th at 7 p.m.
