Early voting began Monday in the Nov. 5 election and continues through Nov. 1 at 10 countywide polling locations.
Pearland locations include the Tom Reid Library, 3522 Liberty Drive, West Pearland Community Center, 2150 Countryplace Parkway, and West Pearland Library, 11801 Shadow Creek Parkway.
Hours are 8 am to 6 pm through this Friday, 7 am to 7 pm. Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday, and 7 am to 7 pm Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.
Voters in Alvin ISD will also decide on Proposition A, a $380.1 million bond package designed to address the school district’s future facility needs. These include land purchases and construction of two new elementary campuses and one junior high, expansion and renovations at Alvin and Manvel high schools, and combining Stevenson Primary and Walt Disney Elementary into one new replacement campus. The proposition also includes security vestibules at 25 campuses, monitoring equipment, and backup generators.
