Texas State Parks hold free admission day

Date:

Texas Parks and Wildlife announced visitors to all Texas State Parks get free day-use entry on Sunday, Nov. 3, in celebration of State Parks Day.
The free admission day began in 2023 during the state park centennial celebration.

“I hope this continued event from our centennial celebration motivates all Texans to explore what the outdoors has to offer,” Texas State Parks Director Rodney Franklin said in the announcement. “You are invited to visit a park that is new to you, take a friend and try a new adventure.”

Nearby parks include Brazos Bend State Park in Needville and Galveston Island State Park.
