FHS Celebrates Homecoming 2024, Class of 2005

The Friendswood High School Mustangs battled the Porter High School Spartans during their Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 25, at Henry Winston Stadium. The Mustangs won strongly, 42-14.

Homecoming candidates were escorted onto the field during halftime for the winners to be announced. The Homecoming Queen candidates were Autumn Davis, escorted by Nathan Mills; Grace Egert, escorted by Cooper Prince; and Daisy Harris, escorted by Keaton Cottrell.

The crown bearer was Baker Lake, son of Jordan and AmberlyCox Lake, and the presenter of the mums was FHS Class of 2024 Homecoming Queen Jai Foster. FHS Class of 2005 Homecoming Queen Amberly Cox Lake presented Egert with the crown after she was announced as the winner.

The FHS FootballSweetheart candidates included Alexandria Allan, escorted by Rigo Umanzo; Kinleigh Crochet, escorted by Logan Mudd; and Bruna Schwanke, escorted by Ryan Ressler.

Kelly Thompson Lockridge, FHS Class of 2005 Homecoming Sweetheart, presented Crochet with a bouquet of red roses after being announced as the winner.

Trophy and flower bearers included Lane and Luke Lockridge, sons of Ryan Lockridge and Kelly Thompson; Lakelyn Moore, daughter of Brett and Kimberly Moore; Walker Lake, son of Jordan and Amberly Cox Lake; and Allison and Jack Gonzalez, children of Ben Gonzalez and Sarah Ford Gonzalez. All listed are children of members of the FHS 2005 graduating class.
