A Veteran’s Day Barbecue Cookoff planned at the VFW Post 7109 begins this Friday at the post, 4202 Walnut Drive.
The IBCA sanctions the event with categories including chicken half, pork spareribs, and brisket, and the entry fee is $200 per team. Categories also include pinto beans and Bloody Mary for $20 entry per event.
