PHS Volleyball Team Awarded Chevy Spotlight Trophy

The Pearland Lady Oilers volleyball team, led by Head Coach Jamie Gill, concluded their 2024 season with a strong finish, advancing to the regional quarter-finals. This historic run marked a significant milestone for the program, as the team aimed to surpass the achievements of any previous Pearland team.

With a remarkable record of 40 wins and six losses, the Lady Oilers dominated their district, securing the coveted first-place position. Their exceptional performance earned them the prestigious Chevy Spotlight Trophy presented by Bayway Chevrolet, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the sport.

While the season may have concluded, the Lady Oilers’ dedication and hard work have laid the foundation for future success. The team’s accomplishments this year have inspired young athletes and set a high standard for years to come.
