Brazoria County Dunes Day for tree recycling is 9 a.m. to noon on January 20 at Stahlman Park, Freeport.
Trees with no flocking, tinsel, or decorations are accepted for the project through mid-January and converted into sand dunes along the Brazoria County coastline to strengthen them against storm surges.
