The Pearland Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting volunteer “buddies” for the Miracle League, an inclusive baseball program for players with disabilities.
Paired with a player for each game, buddies help with batting and running bases for games scheduled for February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, and March 22.
Volunteers should be at least 15 years old, and all adults undergo a background check. Youth volunteers must have a minor release signed by a parent or guardian.
