A first-ever event known as Pearland Grand Arts and Eats takes place this Saturday on Grand Blvd. in conjunction with the Old Pearland Farmer’s Market.
Free and open to the community, the festival is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2314 Grand Blvd and includes live music, a fun zone, interactive art and maker booths, and an “Artists’ Alley” market located in Zychlinski Park. Artists with work on display will include painters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, potters, and more.
Live music will begin at 10 a.m. featuring Patty O’Beers. The band Brightwire takes the stage at 11:45 a.m., followed by Little Outfit from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Grifters & Shills winds up performances from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. Foods available will include Central Texas BBQ, El Caudillo, Mikki’s Cafe and Vallenson’s Brewing Co.
The inaugural festival is hosted by Visit Pearland, the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, and First United Methodist Church.
