Friendswood mayors pay tribute to former chief

Four Mayors of Friendswood held a tribute to former Police Chief Robert Wieners on Thursday evening. Chief Wiener’s family was in attendance to share in the celebration of his career in Friendswood and his military history. Current Chief Josh Rogers provided a personal perspective on the mentorship and leadership Wieners brought to him and the department. Surrounded by members of the PD, city employees, and numerous Friendswood elected officials that worked with Wieners, his son Bobbie provided thanks to the community for their support.
