The 2020 Prom Closet at Turner College & Career High School has opened and donations as well as availability of items there are underway.

Sponsored by the Pearland Silverlake Lions Club, the annual Prom Closet has free new and gently used formal dresses, shoes, purses and accessories just in time for area proms.

They also have limited supplies of tuxedoes.

No registration is needed and all items are on a first come, first served basis.

The Prom Closet is located in Locker Room #1568 and is open all Tuesdays and Wednesdays now through April 8, 2020. On Tuesdays, it is open from 11:55 am to 12:55 pm and on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.

Turner HS is located at 4717 Bailey Road in Pearland.

Donations of items are still underway at two drop off spots: Dream Dinners at 8201 Broadway St. Suite #111 and Altered Images at 1330 Broadway St. #102 in Pearland.

Donors should note that all accessories and shoes must be clean, modern and prom appropriate.
