Clear Creek ISD Announces 18 National Merit Finalists

Date:

Clear Creek ISD is home to 18 finalists for the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Each of Clear Creek ISD’s semifinalists, which were announced in September 2021, moved on to the finalist round with around 15,000 other high school seniors. To qualify as a finalist, students were judged on their academic record, participation in school and community activities, leadership abilities and were endorsed by a high school official.

Finalists will now compete for approximately 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth a combined value of more than $30 million. Merit Scholarship award winners will be announced in four nationwide news releases beginning in April 2022 and concluding in July 2022.
