The Friendswood varsity tennis teams won the boys and girls District 22-5A championship tournament held at Galveston Ball High School. The Mustangs played tough to win against opponents: Galveston Ball, La Porte, Lee, Manvel, Memorial, Santa Fe, Sterling and Texas City.
The first and second places at district advance to the regional tournament on April 13-14 at the Blythe Calfee Tennis Center in Willis, Texas.
