Register now for the upcoming gardening presentations by Galveston County Master Gardeners as well as saving the date for the upcoming end of summer, just in time for fall planting sale.
Unless otherwise noted all programs are conducted at the Galveston County AgriLife Extension Office located inside Carbide Park at 4102-B Main Street (FM 519) in La Marque.
Arranging Fresh and Artificial Flowers will be presented Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9 to 11 am. Galveston County Master Gardener Jackie Auer will demonstrate and explain the basic techniques of fresh and artificial flower arranging. She has produced arrangements for the retail market, as well as for individuals.

Blackberry Propagation will be presented Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9 to 11 am. Presented by Horticulture Agent Stephen Brueggerhoff, Â the class will explore blackberry cultivation including varieties (thorned and thornless), growth habit and seasonal pruning, trellising systems, and fertilization. Save the date for the GCMG’s Summer Sundown Sale held online from noon
Friday, September 9, 2022 to noon  Saturday, September 10, 2022. GCMGs will offer  fruit and citrus trees, tomatoes, and perennial varieties available for purchase.
