Pearland Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Entrepreneur Panel at the Monthly Membership Luncheon planned for August 18, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pearland. The event will run from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Russell Ybarra of Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen and John Garrett of Community Impact newspaper will be the featured speakers.
A veteran restaurateur, Ybarra has grown Gringo’s from the original Pearland location into a citywide chain. He also has developed successful sister eateries, such as Jimmy Changas, Burger Libre, Bullritos and The Lunch Box. Ybarra prides himself on providing exemplary service to his restaurants’ customer base.
Garrett is founder and CEO of Community Impact Newspaper, a hyperlocal news company that delivers a free monthly newspaper to every household in the geographic areas it covers. The company serves 22 communities across 34 cities in Texas, including Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metro areas.
The luncheon will feature the two speakers who will address how they expanded their businesses successfully.
Sponsorships are now underway for the event. The Industry Level Sponsorship is $500 with the business level sponsorship at $300.
Single tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 12101 Shadow Creek Pkwy in Pearland.
